The beach underneath the restaurant is well taken care of. We sat 12 People from Which 4 children. Food was well cooked and tasty. There were many servers, well mannered. We had very fast and willing service. Nice weekend getaway from the city.
Our family has enjoyed dining here for at least two decades, and it is a favorite. The view & ambiance are lovely, the food & service are outstanding. One can walk down a few steps to a small beach that is family friendly, and never seems crowded. A beautiful place for small or large groups.
Great restaurant with nice views and gardens and amazing fresh food! We had the baby squid halloumi and the greek salad and they were are great. The portions were large as well. Great place to have a bite after a good swim at the beach
We often visit Governors Beach but normally go to a restaurant at the northern end. This was our first visit to the southern most restaurant. Lovely garden with grass and trees overlooking the beach and sea. Free sunbed if you are visiting the restaurant. The sea is very sheltered here from the prevailing wind, the water warm, calm and clear. Quite an extensive menu at this fish Taverna which also offers meat dishes and other Cypriot specialities. I had the sea bass which was surprisingly large, we'll cooked and tasty. My wife had red mullet, also good. Nice salad and apple pie to round off the meal. Service was reasonably good although the waiter could have been a little more friendly. Overall, nice position and garden and pretty good food. Will go again.
Traditional Cypriot cuisine. The kind of place you see fewer tourists but more Cypriots. Better that way if you want quality food.
Decent food, slightly expensive but of course, that comes with the convenience of being on a lovely beach. Service was very slow but we weren’t in a hurry.
